Organized by the Embassies of France and Madagascar under the topic of “Shared growth and responsible development: the conditions of stability in the world and the Francophone space”, and the slogan “Our diversity is our strength”, the celebration of the Francophonie’s festival on Saturday, 12th March, 2016 in the Centre Français
Madagascar: partner country of the international tourism salon in Dresden the 29th to 31st of January.
As a partner country, the visibility of Madagascar from all perspective was reinforced during this tourism event. Indeed, the participation of the two Malagasy tourism entities “Adventure Expedition” and “Mikea Lodge”, assisted by representatives of Madagascar’s Embassy was a real opportunity to promote the country during the exhibition, which gathered more than 30 000 visitors, 400 exhibitors from 12 different countries.
Madagascar at the international salon „Grüne Woche“ the 20th to 29th of January 2016
Madagascar is every year represented by MadaSpice: the specialist of Malagasy spices during the week of “Grüne Woche”, which is an international green exhibition in Germany intended for the sectors of food industries, agriculture and horticulture.
This exhibition constitutes an inevitable meeting for worldwide producers in order to test and to launch into the market of food products or luxury and to strengthen their brand image.

The allocutions were focused on several aspects. On the one hand the threat caused by the terrorists act on the international security. On the other hand, some positive aspects such as the adoption of sustainable development, being accepted from 193 states members of the United Nations as well as the historical agreement on the protection of the climate according to the Conference of Paris on Climate.
Opening of the FESTIVAL INTERFILM in Berlin November 10, 2015
As usual, the Embassy was represented at the opening of the 31st edition of the short film festival that gained an international reputation for over 20 years. This event which lasts from 10 to 15th November 2015 represents about 7000 spectators in more than 130 countries with approximately 65 programs that emphasize international short films.
