Green Talents 2014 – International forum for high potentials in sustainable development: November 7th, 2014

 The Embassy of Madagascar was invited to the ceremony awards “Green Talents 2014”, at the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research in Berlin on November 07th, 2014.

As part of the 6th Ceremony "Green Talents", and for the first time, a talented Malagasy young scientist Mrs Lovanomenjanahary Marline was one of 25 winners selected through 816 candidates from 103 countries. 

The winner, 27 years will benefit in Germany in 2015, an excellent research program supported entirely by a renowned institute of her choice.

Indeed, this international competition aims to promote young talents in the field of sustainable development and the preservation of biodiversity, to encourage international cooperation through the exchange of knowledge and experiences. Germany attaches great importance in sustainable development and financed several projects.

Research of Mrs Lovanomenjanahary Marline which allows her to be part of the "Green Talents" competition is focused primarily on the effects of the fauna and flora of Madagascar in the context of climate change.

The event was honored by the Federal Minister of Research Prof. Johanna Wanka, who personally presented the awards to 25 winners.
