Fascination Madagascar
An activity of tourism promotion called "Fascination Madagascar" took place in November 2009 in several cities of Germany, namely Berlin, Falkensee, Potsdam, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart. The public could enjoy a film presentation of very diverse sceneries, the rich cultural heritage and the unique flora and fauna. In addition to that, there was an authentic arts and crafts market which many people appreciated. And last but not the least, a live performance on the valiha by Doné Andriambaliha, a well-known representative of Malagasy music. His repertoire ranges from traditional sounds, classical music and jazz. Andriambaliha was accompanied by singers and traditional dancers. This activity is the result of the collaboration between the Embassy of Madagascar and Madagascar Ray Tours.
