Biometric Passport
The Embassy of Madagascar in France has the necessary equipment for the production of biometric passports. In this regard, we advise Malagasy nationals residing in Europe to renew their passports and provide all required documents listed below:
New passport application or officially declared lost passport:
- Application Form print out and complete
- Copy of old passport
- Complete copy of birth certificate less than six months
- Certified copy of the national identity card
- Proof of residence
- Certificate of citizenship
- Parental consent duly legalised (minors under 21 years)
- Two recent passport photos (remove glasses and earrings)
- Certificate of Employment
- Subject to production of other materials seemed to be useful
- 70 Euros fees (Art.12 bis Decree no. 2008-1142) December, 1-2008
Renewal of passport:
- Application Form print out and complete
- Copy of old passport
- Two recent passport photos (remove glasses or earrings)
- Proof of residence
- Certified copy of National Identity Card
- Certificate of citizenship
- Certificate of Employment
- Subject to production of other materials seemed to be useful
- Copy act of civil status (original less than 6 months);
- 70 Euros fees (Art12 bis Decree no. 2008-1142) December, 1- 2008
- All in duplicate (except pictures)
