The BAZAAR BERLIN is the international market place for crafts, design, natural and fair-trade products. About 500 manufacturers and dealers from more than 60 countries showcase every year in November their high quality, mostly hand-made and exotic products.
Representatives of the Embassy came not only to visit the Malagasy stands but also to discover those of other countries.
This year is special since Madagascar has increased its representation thanks to the participation of 5 other Madagascan craftsmen including Ranto Art Nivo, Arts and Minerals of Madagascar, Tatjana Appelhans, Kunst und Körbe Madagascar, Madastyle.
Each year, Madagascar participates in this world-class design and natural product-market. We could notice the rush of Madaspice’s usual customers purchasing spices from Madagascar since 6 years.
The stand Liana Création, selling vintage-handicrafts out of raffia, horn, and leather fabrics from Madagascar, is likewise crowded.
The interior design is not left behind because the stand Atelier Dieudonné and Violette, offers modern iron products highlighting our richness such as the famous Baobab.
Such an initiative is strongly encouraged to develop exchange and fair-trade between Madagascar and other countries.
